Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love’s daughter, Frances Bean, and Tony Hawk’s son, Riley Hawk, are officially man and wife. The 31 year old daughter of the late Nirvana singer and the 30 year old skateboarder, following in his dad’s footsteps, married on Oct. 7 in Los Angeles, according to documents obtained by TMZ.
Michael Stipe, who is Cobain’s godfather and formerly fronted R.E.M., officiated the wedding, per the outlet. Frances, was previously married to musician Isaiah Silva from 2014-2016, but that union ended in divorce due to irreconcilable differences.
Riley, 30, is a pro skater, like his dad, and sings in a hardcore punk band called Warish. He is also a model and founder of Steel Mill Coffee, a cafe and roastery based in California. He told GQ in 2017 skateboarding was part of his identity.
