Shade is a song by Silverchair, released in Australia on May 29, 1995 as the fourth single from their debut album, Frogstomp. The song was written by Daniel Johns and Ben Gillies, and produced by Kevin “Caveman” Shirley. It was the group’s only single not chosen to be on their compilation album The Best of Volume 1.
